About

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Shabnam, a millennial therapist, a first-generation Iranian-American, and have a background in the performing arts. I focus on working with men and women who struggle with feelings of depression, anxiety, lack of self confidence or motivation. At times, these emotions are exacerbated by life transitions, grief, or increased stress levels. Authenticity is important to me, and showing up for my clients as such allows me to connect with them in a real way. I am here to hold space for you as you navigate your challenges. I am also here to always note your progress and relish in your joys and successes.

My work is individualized to your needs as I work from a strengths-based approach. It’s important that together we are able to identify patterns you may want to adjust/change, integrate new coping skills, and lean into your strengths.

My life experiences– growing up as the child of immigrants, as a professional musician, and now a psychotherapist– have strengthened the idea that when we understand ourselves we are able to increase our resiliency amidst our ever-changing and challenging world.

Serving individuals in the state of California via telehealth and in person in Los Angeles.
